Published Elizabeth and Rick Bourbon Orleans Wedding

“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

From chicken and biscuits to parading through the streets of the French Quarter in a second line (With personalized umbrellas!), Elizabeth and Rick’s wedding was one of those nights where everything was simply – perfect.

Held in an outdoor ceremony, we danced at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, strolled the backstreets, and even stopped for a photo at the St. Louis Cathedral. You can’t create an aura: they exist on their own, and without pretense. With Rick and Elizabeth’s wedding, their attention to details was what set this wedding apart, giving their guests a unique experience that they’ll talk about for years to come.

Three-piece suits, vintage pearls, and a modern twist on classic themes shook up the proverbial martini of what could have been just another wedding. Instead, Elizabeth’s and Rick’s Great Gatsby themed wedding felt like a swinging party at Jay Gatsby’s mansion in West Egg, only right off the world famous Bourbon Street.
