Ashley and Bryan engaged at City Park

Proposal from the bride

A. Bryan told me his parents had tickets to a dinner on the Natchez Steamboat that they were giving to us. I was throwing my friend a graduation party the next day and didn’t want to go. I tried to talk him into going another night but he wasn’t having it. My last client ended up canceling that day (which was planned) so my boss told me to go home early. I drove him crazy when I got home because I wanted to take my time to get ready since I had more time but he kept telling me we had to go. I kept asking him what time the dinner was for and he keep saying he really wanted to go somewhere and get drinks first. After I was finally ready he brought me to New Orleans and we parked by Woldenberg Park. We had no idea the Oyster Festival was going on so there were people EVERYWHERE. We got a drink and walked toward the boat. There was a lady doing caricatures and he said he wanted to do one. When she was done drawing the picture she turned it around and I could see our two dogs on the bottom. I got up to get a closer look and couldn’t figure out how she got our dogs in the picture, I turned to show him and he was down on one knee. I was SO surprised. I didn’t know what to do next or who to tell.

    Cameron New Orleans Senior portraits

Cameron has said goodbye to high school and hello to college, leaving the world of Parkview Baptist high school and is headed toward the purple and gold of LSU.

This New Orleans beauty makes my job easy – we grabbed her cap and gown, and let the natural light, and natural beauty take the wheel. As you can see, it wasn’t hard to get some great photos of Cameron. Shot in City Park, under the Live Oaks, Cameron captured classic New Orleans elegance.

I wish her the best in her studies, Geaux Tigers!

Published Amanda and Dustin Royal Sonesta wedding

Amanda and Dustin’s magical night was steeped in vintage glam, a throwback to a different time, but also with a foot firmly planted in the modern world. With rose gold wedding rings, hand crafted invitations, and a theme of classic grace, Amanda and Dustin’s wedding was a display of class and sophistication.

Held at the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans, the outdoor wedding was filled with dancing, music and plenty of classic French Quarter flair. We paraded through the streets of the French Quarter, stopping to hear the sounds coming out of The Famous Door. The second line danced and waved as we crossed down Bourbon Street, ready for whatever the evening had in store.

        Paige French Quarter senior portraits

Few things are as magical as the French Quarter on a spring day. From the sound of the calliope organs, to the lilacs blooming, there are few places on earth that evoke such a feeling. Paige’s beautiful senior photo session was a lighthearted, fun shoot. We walked the backstreets, stopped at St. Louis Cathedral, and even stopped at Armstrong Park.

Paige recently graduated from Chapelle High school, and is enrolled at LSU.
